Crypto CEO's daughter nearly kidnapped by masked gang in Paris in real life Taken horror
A woman, believed to be the daughter of a cryptocurrency CEO, was targeted by three masked men in broad daylight in Paris on Tuesday morning, with the gang trying to force her into a van
The family members of a cryptocurrency boss narrowly avoided an attempted abduction in broad daylight in Paris on Tuesday morning in a real life Taken moment.
Chilling footage reveals three men, their faces concealed, attempting to bundle the mother into a van around 8:20am on Rue Pache. The woman's partner assists her and the would-be kidnappers flee the scene in their van.
Police have stated the unnamed 34-year-old victim was accompanied by her two-year-old child. However, it remains unclear how the toddler managed to evade capture, as reported by Le Parisian.
A man is seen intervening in the horror but received blows from the kidnappers as the shocking scene unfolded before the eyes of many passers-by, most of whom didn't get involved despite the victim's screams.
The attackers, one of whom seemingly lost a handgun, which it is unclear whether was real or fake, ended up fleeing in a hurry, getting into the back of the van.
The vehicle was found on a street in the same borough. According to the outlet, the mum is the daughter of the CEO of a cryptocurrency purchasing platform.
The Paris prosecutor's office has asked the anti-banditry brigade to carry out the investigation.
Meanwhile, the family of a Brit teenager are frantically searching for her after she vanished in Thailand. Bella May Culley, 18, was last spotted in the Pattaya area and has not been in touch with her loved ones since Saturday. Her relatives have flown to Thailand to scour the country for any sign of her, with her mum Lyanne Kennedy saying they are all desperate for news.
Bella from Billingham initially travelled to the Philippines after Easter, exploring the islands with a friend. She is believed to have arrived in Thailand around May 3 and had been regularly updating her mum on her adventures.
However, when she failed to make a scheduled call with her mum on Saturday, alarm bells began to ring. Her phone is thought to be switched off, and her family has heard nothing since.
Bella's father Neil Culley and aunt Kerrie Culley have now flown to Thailand to try and track her down, reports Teesside Live.
Lyanne told Teesside Live: "She flew out to the Philippines after Easter with a friend and she was there for three weeks. She was posting loads of pictures and then she went to Thailand on about May 3. Read the story here.
